Good news for AMD users!

SOLIDWORKS Visualize now supports AMD Radeon ProRender. With that, SOLIDWORKS Visualize could be run on AMD’s high-performance graphics cards.

AMD Radeon ProRender is coming from a physically-based rendering engine that usually used by creative professionals to produce superbly photorealistic images.

Built on AMD’s high-performance Radeon™ Rays technology, Radeon ProRender’s complete, scalable ray tracing engine uses open industry standards to harness GPU and CPU performance for excellent results.

AMD Radeon ProRender could now be beneficial to SOLIDWORKS Visualize worldwide users as it is now a native integration of SOLIDWORKS Visualize 2020. Radeon ProRender runs on any GPU that supports OpenCL 1.2.

To use ProRender, select Tools > Options > 3D Viewport and, under Render Engine, select AMD Radeon ProRender.

If you own and AMD Radeon ProRender, you may now start to leverage the speed on your existing hardware to create impressively result on the output images from SOLIDWORKS Visualize!
